Situated halfway between Donegal Town and Ballyshannon and just half a mile off the main road (N15), the cottage is ideal for those wishing to explore the rugged areas of North and West Donegal or visit South Donegal/Sligo (Yeats Country). Donegal Town is only 6 miles away and Sligo Town 25.

The cottage is only 1 mile from Murvagh beach and only 5 miles from the beach at Rossnowlagh.

Golf

For those interested in Golf the cottage is only 2 miles from Donegal (Murvagh)Golf Club - 6643 metres (champ) Par 73 SSS 73 (internetgolfreview.com) and 10 miles from Bundoran Golf Club - 5688 metres (blue) Par 70 SSS 70 and within easy access to several other challenging golf courses.

Glenveagh National Park

Some 16,540 hectares (40,873 acres of mountains, lakes, glens and woods, with a herd of red deer. A Scottish style castle is surrounded by one of the finest gardens in Ireland, which contrasts with rugged surroundings. The Visitor Centre houses exhibitions and an audio-visual show.
